I do not know the history of the Naughty Curry Project, or what happened to bring it to an end. However, it would be a shame for the NC recipes to be lost forever, so I have created this space for those I managed to save.
I had my first Indian cooking adventures using their instructions, and I would say that the Naughty Curry Project was inspirational. The enthusiasm these women brought was contagious, and their instructions created a sense of confidence that compelled spice novices to go out and experiment with previously mysterious ingredients such as asafetida.
In their own words:
"The Naughty Curry Project is a creative rebellion against blandness. It's about applying the spice techniques of Indian-related cuisines to enhance anything from last night's leftovers from a garden-variety chain restaurant to those instant mashed potatoes from your otherwise-empty pantry.... It's fun."
I hope that this archive, though it is incomplete, brings as much spicy happiness to others as it does to me.
